FREEDOM
This picture inspired me to create this poem:
You can always just be you,
Stay true.
Let go of worries, doubts, and fears,
Of fleeting thoughts and wasted tears,
The fear of losing inspiration,
Or not foreseeing life’s rotation.
The dread of what might come your way,
Of loss, of sorrow’s harsh decay,
The way you look, the roles you play,
Your status shifting day by day.
Let go of all the world’s alarms,
Be free, untethered, from its charms.
Just be yourself — no need to hide,
Like fresh winds sweeping far and wide.
