COLD WATERS

We have a special feeling for the things into which we put great effort.
This painting holds a special place in her heart. She began working on it in a mixed state of consciousness. Life gently flows from one moment to another, as day turns into night. Immersing herself in painting the night sky with a full moon and its reflections on the snowy peaks, her mind became increasingly foggy. She didn’t know what would come next. Her sense of being shifted from one emotion to another.
And there were trees, bushes along the bank of a small river. Moonlight slid along the gnarled branches, exposing the texture of the bark and the wet stones.
But one morning, everything changed. The paint, barely dry, sluggishly stretched behind the cloth, unwilling to leave.
“This isn’t right,” she thought, nervously clutching the oil-soaked rag. “I don’t feel it.”
Her gaze was direct and deep, trying to capture even a fragment of what consumed her entirely, but something had broken. This happens to all of us, when for a moment we lose connection with something essential in our lives.
“Be strong and brave.
Be patient and righteous.
Don’t let anyone walk your path for you.
You have the strength to achieve whatever you desire.
That strength was given to you by God, and it lives within you,”
the voice in her head repeated.
“Someone great once said these words,” she thought.
And then the water appeared… Cold, deep, shifting with ice, reflecting the color of her soul at that moment. She stood there, watching, and with each passing moment she understood more clearly:
«As an artist, I am here to tell my story through my paintings—to bring to life what I feel and share with the world the things that words cannot express. I stand firm, without compromise, drawing strength from the mountains—patient and righteous, unwavering in purpose.»
And though the cold night air and the crackling of ice may unsettle you now, the time will come when you will see the light—beautiful and warm. That light has always been there, and it lives within each of us. ❤️
